These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase of tickets and participation in the Saskatchewan AI & Tech Summit 2027 (the “Summit”, “we”, “us”). By purchasing a ticket or registering, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Tickets & Official Sales Channel
Summit tickets are sold only through our official website, skaitechsummit.ca. We are not responsible for tickets, payments, or arrangements made through any third party, reseller, or unofficial channel, and such tickets are not eligible for any refund or support under these Terms.
Each ticket admits the registered attendee only and may not be resold for profit.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
All Summit tickets are non-cancellable and non-refundable if you choose to cancel.
Once purchased, you cannot cancel your own ticket for a refund. Refunds are only available in the two situations below. All requests must be sent to info@skaitechsummit.ca before the event date, together with your booking details and any proof required for that situation. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period after the request (and proof, where required) is verified.
A. We cancel the event
If we cancel the Summit, all registered attendees will be refunded. The administrative charge deducted depends on how you paid, since international cards cost more for us to process:
- Paid with a domestic (Canadian) card: 5% administrative charge deducted — 95% of the ticket price is refunded.
- Paid with an international (non-Canadian) card: 6% administrative charge deducted — 94% of the ticket price is refunded.
B. International attendees — visa not granted
Only book a ticket if you already hold a valid visa to enter Canada. If you do not yet have one but still wish to register, you may do so — but if your visa application is rejected and you request a refund, we will deduct a 10% administrative charge of the total ticket price (90% of the ticket price is refunded).
Proof required:
You must attach your official visa rejection letter or rejection message from the visa office when requesting this refund. We will verify this proof before processing anything — requests without it, or that we cannot verify, will not be refunded under this exception.
This exception applies only:
- to attendees travelling from outside Canada;
- to the specific case where the visa application is rejected or does not arrive in time before the event date; and
- to Summit tickets purchased on our official website, skaitechsummit.ca.
Not covered by this refund:
Airfare and flight tickets, hotel and accommodation, local transport, and any other travel or personal expenses are not included and not refundable. The refund applies only to the Summit ticket price purchased on skaitechsummit.ca.
Important — do not book flights before contacting us
Please do not buy your flight tickets before talking to us. Flights and other travel costs are non-refundable and a visa is not guaranteed, so email us first at info@skaitechsummit.ca for more details before booking any travel.
3. Event Changes
We may change the program, speakers, schedule, format, or venue, and in exceptional circumstances the date, where reasonably necessary. We will communicate material changes to registered attendees. A change of program or speakers does not entitle an attendee to a refund.
4. Attendee Conduct
Attendees must behave respectfully and lawfully and follow the instructions of organizers and venue staff. We may refuse entry to, or remove, any person whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful, without refund.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your ticket or attendance is limited to the amount you paid for your ticket. We are not liable for travel, visa, accommodation, or other costs, or for indirect or consequential losses.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes are subject to the courts of Saskatchewan, Canada.
