Programs Lead, Venture Pilots, Edmonton Unlimited
Edmonton, Canada
Veronica Garth is Programs Lead, Venture Pilots at Edmonton Unlimited, the innovation agency for the City of Edmonton, where she runs Built World Tech — an 8-week innovation challenge pairing local startups with established construction and built-world companies to solve real, industry-sourced problems, from AI tools for building-code compliance to embodied-carbon assessments for residential builders.
She previously worked as an Investment Associate at Front Row Ventures, Canada's first student-run venture capital fund, and brings hands-on entrepreneurial experience as a co-founder of Garth Realty Group and Intrepid North Medical. She is currently completing an MBA at the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta, with a focus on real estate.
At the Saskatchewan AI & Tech Summit 2027, Veronica brings a builder-and-investor's view of venture pilots and innovation programs — how startups, established industry, and government funding can combine to move promising technology from pilot to real-world adoption.
